Relationships and how to connect them together have always been a fundamental theme in Corinne Spielewoy's life. The idea of Linkart emerged in 2005 by proposing to set up art projects focused on direct human contact. This needed interaction is well expressed in the concept Ubuntu a word in Bantu African dialect that means, in short “I am what I am because of who we all are”. So encountering others brings energy and hope. It allows us to share our good moments or bad ones and to feel supported and encouraged. The questions Corinne tries to answer in Linkart projects is: How do we create valuable and authentic relationships ? How do we meet in person, people that we normally would not meet ? How do people connect ? So with the human encounter at the core of its concerns, Linkart facilitates collaborative and interactive projects from various media with artists and the audience. In 2008 Linkart carried out Corinne’s first collaborative art project called "Ripple Effect" in Paducah, Kentucky. In 2010, she returned to the US to work with a group of 25 visual artists in Nashville, Tennessee. She also led a sculpture project called "Ubuntu" with 12 artists in Paducah.
